PLACE

AnalytiXIN
is building a
community
that encourages
collaboration
between academia,
manufacturing,
and life sciences.

THE COMMON PLACE is a physical hub to catalyze and connect university and industry expertise, capabilities, and talent at 16 Tech, Indianapolis’ Innovation District on the city’s northwest side.

Currently, there are multiple locations on campus that represent AnalytiXIN – from our dedicated offices at HqO, to our shared space at the Emerging Manufacturing Collaboration Center (EMC2), to indoor and outdoor meeting locations throughout.

Hq0

As the innovation hub of 16 Tech, HqO is the innovation hub of 16 Tech, designed to foster innovation, creativity and connection. It includes private and flexible workspaces, a makerspace and an artisan marketplace.

All three research universities have space at the AnalytiXIN offices at Hq0, and University of Notre Dame uses their space for intern programming and industry collaboration. Many of the participating organizations have utilized the space to work remotely or have meetings, workshops and educational sessions.

The Emerging Manufacturing Collaborative Center

(EMC2) is the State’s new smart manufacturing hub designed to encourage greater university-industry collaboration around innovative, production-related technologies. It will allow new and existing manufacturers to utilize state-of-the-art equipment, including GE Additive’s Binder Jet technology, to train employees, conduct third-party pilot manufacturing and increase awareness of products and software applications.

AnalytiXIN is partnering with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation to promote and support the growth of the space.
