Associate Professor of Intelligent Systems Engineering at Indiana University
Vikram Jadhao joined the Department of Intelligent Systems Engineering at Indiana University Bloomington in 2016. He uses computer simulation methods to explore the structure and flow of soft materials like biomimetic membranes, colloidal suspensions, glassy liquids, self-assembled nanoparticles and smart polymers.
The central focus of his research is to reveal the molecular origins of macroscopic material phenomena in order to engineer advanced materials for applications in drug delivery, energy devices and stretchable electronics.
He received his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2010 and had postdoctoral fellowships at Northwestern University and Johns Hopkins University.
