The Responsible AI Community of Practice meeting on January 29 will provide an update on the working group formed following AXIN’s Annual Summit in August, where faculty, industry leaders, and community partners convened to explore opportunities for collaboration around AI and data innovation. Building on themes that emerged during the Summit’s discussions, this CoP brings together participants from Universities, industry, and regional organizations who share an interest in understanding and advancing responsible AI practices within their own contexts. The January session will introduce the working group members, outline initial collaborative goals, and share early ideas for 2026 programming. While the group does not set statewide AI practices, it aims to create a cross‑sector learning environment where organizations can exchange insights, surface shared challenges, and collectively shape approaches to responsible and innovation‑ready AI in Indiana.
