Biography

Dr. Selena Wang is Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Health Data Science at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Wang’s primary research interest is to develop scalable statistical and computational approaches for high-dimensional biomedical data with a focus on network science, high dimensional data analysis, neuroimaging, data integration and statistical machine learning. She has extensive experience in developing MRI analytic methods, Bayesian inference and latent space network models incorporating biological, psychological and medical information.

Dr. Wang has done a great deal of translational research and has been providing support on study design and statistical analyses to investigate psychiatric outcomes, mental disorders, aging, Alzheimer’s disease, etc. Dr. Wang was recruited with AnalytiXIN funding in July 2024.
