Phillip Whelan joins the AETL as the inaugural Chief Data Officer in Residence, a dynamic role in collaboration with iNDustry Labs. He holds an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain, and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Notre Dame. Phillip has a targeted focus on data as the organizational asset to help accelerate economic and innovation impact, both for industry partners and research partners.
Before joining Notre Dame, Phillip spent time working as a Computer Scientist at Novetta Solutions in Washington, D.C. focused on big data. From there, he took a position as an early employee at Aunalytics, Inc. in South Bend, IN where he worked as a Data Scientist and Director of Digital Analytics. His most recent position was as Vice President of Analytics, High Tech, Media, and Services for Genpact (NYSE: G) in London.
