Dr. Zang’s Lab focuses on developing adaptive designs for clinical trial studies. His current research is on adaptive clinical trial design with the goal of creating early phase dose-finding designs for immunotherapy and targeted therapy.

Since joining IU, Dr. Zang has published three peer reviewed statistical methodology papers and has been working alongside Eli Lilly on statistical analysis projects on their trial data. AnalytiXIN funding has been used by Dr. Zang to support his PhD students, greatly expanding his research productivity.
