challenges
Indiana’s manufacturing and life sciences industries are two of the most significant economic drivers for the state, and both have long legacies of creating innovation, jobs and information.
Through AnalytixIN, there are opportunities to utilize large amounts of data to further educational, charitable and scientific objectives within both the life science and manufacturing sectors.

Conexus Indiana has facilitated partnerships among three Indiana research universities to develop advanced energy and manufacturing models and analytics applications focused on reducing energy and carbon footprints.
Indiana University, Purdue University and the University of Notre Dame are collaborating with each other and with industry to increase factory efficiency and enhance sustainability in different manufacturing sectors using advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies.
The goal is to develop analytical models to be made available as downloadable apps. Throughout the development process, university leaders are making data, insights, models and techniques publicly available via monthly webinars (published on YouTube).
In addition to the three Indiana universities, the manufacturing data development work is being supported by Conexus Indiana, Emerging Manufacturing Collaboration Center (EMC2) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
